I led an exceptional team of creatives, project and production managers to pitch, win, and deliver an innovative Business Centre and Consumer Booth design that blended creative direction with engaging, experiential hybrid elements. Bandai Namco made a striking impact at Gamescom 2024, the premier event for gamers globally. Running from August 21 to August 25, the campaign showcased key titles: Dragon Ball Z, Little Nightmares III, and Unknown 9: Awakening.
The Objectives

Lead a team to pitch, win and deliver Bandai Namco's Business Centre and Consumer Boooth for Gamescom 2024.

Elevate Bandai Namco and feature games' visual presence to attract existing fans and new visitors.

Consumer Booth:

Designed to attract visitors, we prioritised gameplay to drive engagement.

Featured iconic visuals from the feature games, cosplay and "quetainment" for those waiting in line, complimented by atmospheric lighting.

Ample hands-on game stations reduced wait times, while a central design allowed distinct title zones.

Giant inflatables, including Goku, created a unique entry experience, complemented by clever photo ops and a themed 16+ zone for Little Nightmares III.
Business Centre

We created a collaborative hub that fostered networking and business opportunities.

The space featured a welcoming reception leading to dedicated lounges for press and business, complete with catering and self-service beverages.

Strategic signposting and game pods celebrated feature titles.

Vibrant branding and enhanced print elements added character, ensuring a professional and engaging environment.
The Results

40,000+ booth attendees and engagement from the Gamescom online community, which captured over 310m video views.
