The objective was to increase our footprint across Essence, client-by-client, and to support the launch of DAZN's streaming platform. This started with winning the DAZN account through an innovative media automation solution and resulted in retaining the client for 5 years.

Support DAZN's rapid market growth agenda and drive revenue growth from the account by aligning relevant solutions to DAZN's challenges.

Provide internal Senior Leadership and Product Development teams with client and market insights to inform business decisions and Sports product development strategy.
The Solution

Led agency pitches, strategic and lunch and learn sessions to increase company, product and service awareness across Essence (DAZN's Media agency).

Following successful pitches and an award for the Financial Times account, we won the DAZN account with an innovative paid media automation idea.

I worked with our Development and Account Management teams to significantly grow the account by understanding DAZN's evolving market challenges and developing AdTech solutions that automated media delivery at scale at a significantly better CPC.
The Results

Grew and retained the client for 5 years, even when they moved media agency.

Drove over 400,000+ subscriptions through PPC alone.

Developed a new AdTech product that was then sold to other broadcasters and brands including NBA GamePass, Sainsbury's and Volkswagen.
